Jillian and Chris had their sophisticated black tie wedding and reception at the beautiful Callanwolde Fine Arts Center on October 27th. The ceremony took place at the base of the intricate, dark wood staircase as light poured in from the window above. The decor was gorgeous- warm ivory and gold tones for the ceremony and cocktail hour and tonal purple florals that popped on the black, white and silver damask linens for the reception. I absolutely love the contrast of the china and the black menus with silver calligraphy. Guests enjoyed the champagne bar where they could customize their own champagne cocktail with several types of fruit purees, including pear and mango, before the luxurious dinner of lobster and steak. It was a fantastic party that was topped off when the groom serenaded his bride as he played the band leader's guitar- and then her brother joined in on the drums!
