Atlanta Weddings: The Wedding Party

I am looking forward to attending Atlanta Weddings Magazine's Annual event "The Wedding Party" on Wednesday at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Register here to experience the latest in bridal fashion and wedding trends, sample food from some of the best catering companies in Atlanta and register to win fab prizes such as DJ services and a honeymoon.

Congratulations Emily!

Congratulations to our wonderful Associate Emily and her husband Kevin on the birth of their first child, James "Griffin" Scurry. Welcome, Griffin!

Fabulous Frock Friday: Heidi Elnora comes to Atlanta!

Last night I had the pleasure of attending the opening of Heidi Elnora's second store front {the first is in Birmingham} in an adorable boutique in the heart of Midtown. The event was sponsored by the Atlantan Brides magazine. Heidi {a Project Runway alum} could not be more sweet and down to Earth. Southern brides will undoubtedly flock to the store to have the experience of creating a completely custom gown with the designer herself. We are so excited to have this fresh perspective on finding the wedding gown of your dreams right here in Atlanta. To see her complete collection {which she refers to as "the girls"}, see her website or make an appointment to meet with Heidi in person. Here are some great images the talented Jessica Ashley of Peachtree Photography took.

I am headed out of town for a little time away from the office early this week. I love this inspiration board from Snippet and Ink that sums up where I am headed... Hope you have enjoyed your long weekend!

Emily & David

Emily and David were married on April 4th at the Biltmore in the Imperial Ballroom.

Everyone was so happy! Lots of smiles all around....

The flowers were beautiful! I love that the light blue in all of the florals was very similar to the blue in the ceiling of the ballroom. The bridesmaids bouquets and reception flowers also had vibrant pinks incorporated that completed the look.

The last few moments before the ceremony between Father and Daughter.

Onto the reception!

Guests indulged in lots of yummy sweets including cake and a candy bar that included both regional favorites {peach candies} and some of the Bride and Groom's favorites.

A bubble exit to a vintage Rolls Royce!

I am so impressed with these lovely images from Laura at Artstar Photography! Thank you for sharing, Laura! See the complete slideshow here. Best Wishes to Emily and David!

Eye Candy

I hope this weekend proves to be as sunny and delightful as this image from Abby Ross!

Great Gatsby!

We have seen a trend of '20s inspired weddings as of late here at Ashley Baber Weddings. Loving these peacock feather hair accessories from Portobello {seen here} as a fun addition to this "theme."

Congrats Jacqui and Lachlan!

So excited for our dear friends Jacqui and Lachlan who were married a few weeks ago at King Plow. This is one of my favorite images from their day. You have got to head over to the Our Labor of Love blog to check out the florals and decor Steve Bales team at Bold American pulled off for this wedding (not to mention the gorgeous pics!). WOW!

Fabulous Frock Friday

Loving this ensem from J.Crew {courtesty of my new obsession dlshdesign}. The flats are such a great option for your bridesmaids if you are having an outdoor ceremony and/or reception (or if you just want to be sure they can dance all night long) and would be such a welcome addition to any gal's Fall wardrobe!
