We love celebrating Derby Day each year by remembering Jenna and John's Derby Day Wedding that was featured in the National Knot Magazine and on Snippet and Ink. I still love looking at the gorgeous flowers and hand painted invitations from Momental Designs.
I am also in love with this "Lucky in Love" stationery from Miss Pickles Press.
I found this prettiness on the WeddingWire blog today- a yellow inspiration board for a barn wedding. This board makes me really wish we had a barn wedding coming up!
We adore Jennifer and Richard's whimsical and bright engagement session a few months ago with their talented photographer W. Scott Chester. We are looking forward to their wedding this weekend!
Earth Day is tomorrow! I had so much fun collaborating on this gorgeous eco-chic inspiration board with Chrissy of The Perfect Palette. Sometime ago I had a concept of a wedding that was heavy in floral details but was very eco-friendly and did not actually use any real flowers. Chrissy helped me pull these ideas together in this lovely board. Note the eco-friendly wedding gown, conflict free diamond ring, balsa wood flower bouquet {balsa wood is ecologically sustainable timber} and other pretty, environmentally friendly details.
I think this might be our last real wedding feature from 2009... Sarah and Brannan were married and held their reception at the Piedmont Room on October 10th. Sarah chose a pretty Fall color palette of a unique shade of chartreuse green, chocolate brown and shades of orange.
Sarah and Brannan opted to see each other before the ceremony, so there was plenty of time for great pre-wedding photos at the venue and in Piedmont Park.
The bridal party looked great...
...but I am pretty sure these two stole the show!
I love the branches and orange florals used in the ceremony and reception.
The couple was sent off with a grand sparkler exit!
I am sure many of you may have seen this wedding on Style me Pretty last week, but this dress was so gaspworthy I had to feature it on Fabulous Frock Friday. It seems Miss Monique Lhuillier is consistently showing up here on Fab Frock Friday... I also adore all of the shoes that the bride, who is a shoe designer, created for herself and her bridesmaids. What do I love more-- the dress...the shoes....the dress....the shoes.... this could go on for a while.
The Bride's expression when she sees her Groom for the first time is so precious.
And how fab are these bridesmaids shoes that the Bride designed!?
We are absolutely honored that a photo shoot we put together in January with Amanda Gray and our Virginia office was recently featured on Style Me Pretty. We really enjoyed collaborating with the mega-talented florist Holly Chapple for this vintage-inspired table scape. The table scape was shot inside the ruins at The Mill at Fine Creek - a historic landmark. I could not be happier with the results...
