Jan and Steven were married at The Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on June 28th. Jan really went above and beyond with the details for this gorgeous wedding. She wanted to create a play on her new last name "Eveningred" and create a "Red Evening" with lots of beautiful red tones incorporated throughout the wedding. The touching ceremony began as a children's choir {Atlanta Young Singers of Callanwolde} sang in harmony from the balcony of the church. It sounded like angels singing from above and had some of the guests in tears! Guests then enjoyed a magnificent evening at the very historical Georgian Terrace Hotel where the tables were adorned with stunning, overflowing tonal red centerpieces. The Neons kept the party going and Jan's Dad put on quite a show with some wild moves during an unexpected and very funny Father-Daughter dance- you have to watch the slideshow to see what I mean! The bride's cake was beautiful with lots of deep red roses between each layer. And Steven's cake was a spine- a nod to his Chiropractic career. The couple exited their wedding under a shower of red rose petals and left in style in a vintage convertible with, of course, red leather interior. Please see the complete slideshow here and thank you to Jan and Steven's amazing photographer Laura Negri for this photo montage. Amanda and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Jan, Steven and their families and wish them all the best for the future!
I will leave you again with one of my favorite details from the wedding {one of many}. These were the welcome gifts that each guest received in their hotel rooms. A true Atlanta welcome that included 2 water bottles with custom red labels, peach shaped cookies, 2 old-fashioned, glass bottles of Coca-Cola, Georgia peanuts, peach candies and lots of great information on things to do and see around the city.
