Jessa and Barrett were married on Friday, June 26th at the Piedmont Room at Piedmont Park. Jessa and Barrett planned their wedding from afar- Jessa in Maryland and Barrett in China finishing his MBA. It was an extremely emotional and spiritual ceremony that even included a Christian rock band!
{Love this ring shot}
Jessa and Barrett had a lot of touches throughout the wedding to emphasize their love of travel and the fact that they were moving to China after the wedding. Guests signed in on a scroll with Chinese characters that the couple planned to hang in their home in China. Guests also received fortune cookies as their favor. And, for my all time favorite exit shot-- we asked guests to make paper airplanes to throw at the couple as they made their exit.
Jessa and Barrett did a "day after" shoot and got some amazing images around the city.
These are really only a few of my favorite images-- there were too many great ones to choose from. Thank you to Poser and Otto Schulze for these beautiful images. You really MUST go to Poser's post to see all of their amazing images. Best Wishes to Jessa and Barrett on all of their adventures in China and beyond!!
Pretty little things

Jennifer & Greg
We are excited to see some of the details of Jennifer and Greg's wedding featured on the Brides.com blog this week! Jennifer and Greg were married on April 25th at the Wimbish Mansion. Jennifer's inspiration for her wedding day came from the cover of a Brides Magazine that featured a gorgeous hot pink peony bouquet and a pair of hot pink Christian Louboutin's. Here are some of the details of their day:
Jennifer was stunning in her Anne Barge gown and ornate sash.
We used simple and elegant white silk pintuck linens on the tables and sashes for the gold chairs. The tables were adorned with low, lush arrangements of peonies, hydrangea, roses and ranunculus.
Steal this idea: Jennifer and Greg are wine enthusiasts, so instead of a traditional guest book, they opted to have a bottle of wine on each table for guests to sign. They will have a special bottle of wine to drink on each Anniversary for at least 10 years and will save and display the bottles in their home.
I love the simplicity of Jennifer's cake. Greg's cake was modeled after his plane.
Thank you to Drew Newman for these beautiful images!

Melissa & Demetrius
Melissa and Demetrius were married on May 8th at Glendalough Manor just outside of Atlanta.
Melissa wore these stunning large tear-drop earrings with a light blue stone as her "something blue."
A shot as the girls take pics before the ceremony. Melissa chose a gorgeous slate grey, green and white color palette.
She adorned her bouquet with a pretty brooch.
And wore these great Stuart Weitzmans that mimicked the top of her gown
Demetrius had a blast with his guys before the ceremony began.
It was a bit of a windy day! This is a great shot of Melissa just before the ceremony- she looks like a model!
I love this picture of Demetrius trying to sneak a peek of the bride!
And Melissa is just so filled with emotion in the moment as she starts making her way down the aisle...
The ceremony was very spiritual and emotional. Demetrius wipes Melissa's tears away...
And I love the tradition of jumping the broom!
Detail Love: the escort cards were actually stones! Melissa wrote guests names and table numbers on the stones in gold pen.
Detail Love: The couple opted for a cupcake cake rather than a traditional wedding cake. There was a small cake on top that they cut.
It was a fun night! And I love that Melissa changed for her exit! I think this tradition is coming back- we are seeing it more and more.
Congratulations, Melissa and Demetrius! It was an absolute pleasure working with you! A big thank you to Ross Oscar Knight for sharing these images with us!
