Ginny & Ed I: The Couple + Wedding party

I was super excited to see this wedding featured on OnceWed and 100 Layer Cake yesterday. I had the pleasure of working with Ginny and Ed for their wedding on May 30th at Serenbe and just fell in love with the southern charm + 20's couture/vintage details of this wedding and this super sweet couple who met in the 8th grade! There are so many gorgeous images to share from New York photographer Josh Goleman, I will start with the lovely bride and groom and their oh-so-stylish wedding party.

Next up: the details and my favorite images from the ceremony and reception.

We heart betsywhite. Gia sent over this fabulous FREE DIY download to create these adorable cello bag labels {below} to compliment this "vintage inspired homespun charm" board featuring betsywhite's Marissa invitations. These oh-so-cute and easy labels are perfect to top cello bags filled with homemade treats for wedding or shower favors, or the perfect compliment to an afternoon tea with all of your bridesmaids.

Bridal Bar Soiree!

I hope everyone is enjoying the fabulous industry parties this summer. I am looking forward to the Bridal Bar Grand Opening Soiree on July 15th. Mark your calendar!

Robin & Neill

I wanted to be sure you had some eye-candy even while I was away! I am jumping ahead again, but I just have to share this beautiful wedding. Robin and Neill were married at Hawkesdene House in North Carolina on June 12th. Robin and Neill were engaged at Hawkesdene House, so it was only appropriate to return to the quaint B&B for their intimate wedding celebration. The ceremony took place in front of a smaller barn on the property- down a path lined with rose bushes in full bloom with bright pink buds. Robin integrated herbs throughout the entire wedding- in her bouquet, the centerpieces- even what guests threw as she and Neill made their way down the aisle after the ceremony. We loved the estate table that sat 40 guests for dinner in front of a picturesque large barn. After dinner, everyone danced and enjoyed the bride and groom's cake {displayed on a tree stump, of course!} and FIREWORKS! Late night, guests headed to the fire pit for S'mores. Best Wishes, Robin and Neill- thank you for letting us be a part of your special day! Thank you very much to Torrence Photography for these stunning images- breathtaking! And a MAJOR shout out to our team member Courtney and the florist Dina for their hard work and saving the day despite of the monsoon-like rains.

engage!09

I am beyond excited to share with you that I have the privilege of attending this business-to-business summit of wedding industry professionals next week. Bringing together many of the 'best of the best' in the wedding industry - from speakers to attendees - engage! seeks to offer something not found in other conferences. Careful attention is paid to creating an atmosphere of effortless networking allowing for an open exchange of ideas, information, inspiration and candid discussions of the issues and opportunities facing everyone in today's wedding industry. I will have the opportunity to meet with and learn from the best- Darcy Miller of Martha Stewart Weddings, Preston Bailey, Carley Roney, Co-Founder of The Knot, Sylvia Weinstock, Abby Larson of Style me Pretty, Michelle Rago, the list goes on and on... I hope to come back inspired and full of new ideas and resources to continue to be a leader in the wedding planning community here in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. Have a wonderful week and look for a re-cap of all of the engage! events soon!

Fabulous Frock {Thursday!}: Lela Rose

I realized this week that it has been a while since I posted a Fabulous Frock Friday, and I have some exciting news to share with you tomorrow, so I am jumping ahead with a Fabulous Frock Thursday! Today I am featuring gowns from Lela Rose because I love her use of unique textiles to create simply elegant gowns and because I found out that we share the same Alma Mater- the University of Colorado. Lela launched her bridal collection in 2006 and most recently gained notoriety for creating the bridesmaids dresses for Jenna Bush's wedding.

Becky & Jeff

Becky and Jeff were married on April 6th in Palmetto, Georgia at one of our favorite spots, Serenbe. The night was picture perfect, complete with Dogwood branches, cookies shaped like the couples beloved Dog, a cigar bar and a Sparkler exit {not to mention to pretty amazing scenery!}. Congrats, Becky & Jeff! Thank you to The Decisive Moment for these beautiful images! See the complete slideshow here.

Love these matching expressions during the ceremony!
