Vineyard Wedding Inspiration

A few months ago I had the pleasure of working with Peter Doyle of Storyboard Life, florist Anik Keuller, Luxe Beauty Co. and Paper Daisies Stationery to design a special photoshoot at the gorgeous Montaluce Winery and Estates. Enjoy this vineyard wedding inspiration :

Thank you to our beautiful model, Christel Bethea. Christa is an amazing woman- a breast cancer survivor. It was an honor to work with her on this shoot for Project Storyboard's “To Have & To Hold” photo project, which is an avenue for men and women who have either experienced breast cancer individually or along side of a family member to share their personal stories.

Coral | Pink | Yellow

We have seen a lot of coral at our weddings lately- such a fun a vibrant color when paired with yellow and/or pink!

Priscilla of Boston has apparently caught onto this trend as well- they are incorporating the colors into their bridesmaids line (via OneWed).

We are loving... Ribbon!

We love ribbon as an inexpensive, yet amazing detail for various uses throughout your wedding. Here are some ideas that have caught our eye...

Ribbon as a ceremony backdrop!

Happy Derby Day!

We love celebrating Derby Day each year by remembering Jenna and John's Derby Day Wedding that was featured in the National Knot Magazine and on Snippet and Ink. I still love looking at the gorgeous flowers and hand painted invitations from Momental Designs.

I am also in love with this "Lucky in Love" stationery from Miss Pickles Press.

And we're off the the races...!

Barn Wedding Inspiration

I found this prettiness on the WeddingWire blog today- a yellow inspiration board for a barn wedding. This board makes me really wish we had a barn wedding coming up!

Happy Earth Day!

Earth Day is tomorrow! I had so much fun collaborating on this gorgeous eco-chic inspiration board with Chrissy of The Perfect Palette. Sometime ago I had a concept of a wedding that was heavy in floral details but was very eco-friendly and did not actually use any real flowers. Chrissy helped me pull these ideas together in this lovely board. Note the eco-friendly wedding gown, conflict free diamond ring, balsa wood flower bouquet {balsa wood is ecologically sustainable timber} and other pretty, environmentally friendly details.

top row: fabric corsage :: bridal heels :: eco-friendly wedding gown :: bride on bicycle
middle row: tree free stationery (made of cotton) :: conflict free diamond ring :: fabric ring pillow, monogram + stamps

Purple Perfection: Ashley Baber Weddings featured on Style Me Pretty

We are absolutely honored that a photo shoot we put together in January with Amanda Gray and our Virginia office was recently featured on Style Me Pretty. We really enjoyed collaborating with the mega-talented florist Holly Chapple for this vintage-inspired table scape. The table scape was shot inside the ruins at The Mill at Fine Creek - a historic landmark. I could not be happier with the results...
